As we walked the Cook Forest trail, a tiny fawn lay hidden in the shadows at the base of a huge hemlock tree. Just feet from the trail, we had no choice but to try to sneak by. Not taking any chances, the baby tottered away on wobbly legs looking for a better hiding spot. The artwork is layers of archival papers from France and Thailand, handcut.
