Inspired by a getaway to a pristine Pennsylvania forest, this scene is the view from the log cabin porch. Looking out to a forbidden lake, the long shadows cast along the ground as the crows gathered each morning. Archival papers are used to make this layered paper cut. I especially enjoyed adding the glint of silver around the sun behind the trees.
