The Little Story
I don’t live near an ocean. But have spent most of my adult life not far from the Great Lakes—and I enjoy how they can take you on a mini coastal vacation visiting their shores. Picking through the sand and driftwood, I love finding a mysterious feather or bone. Wonder who this belonged to? Sea glass, or more generally, beach glass, is always “a keeper”. I suppose it’s really just pretty litter, but walking along Lake Erie, I have to look down to see what the lake has tossed up to be found.
