Mushrooms as Muse workshop
In conjunction with WOOD WIDE WEB
Join me in the Pearl City Clay House gallery for an artist-led tour of the exhibition, followed by a workshop in the classroom.
During the workshop, I will demonstrate how to make sporeprints, and reveal some I've prepared in advance. Each participant will take home a little kit to make a spore print at home. I will be joined by Ryan Peterson from Biodome and Snowbelt Gardens, who will be sharing how to grow your own mushrooms from a block. Tasty mushroom quiche will be served, created from locally sourced ingredients.
